Souper au Crown Plaza:

Il y a quelques mois, nous avons gagné un souper au Cho Gao au Crown Plaza à Abu Dhabi, alors nous avons utilisé notre forfait et c'était super bon!

Abu Dhabi for 2 days

As it is a long weekend here, we are off to Abu Dhabi for 2 days. On the first day, we have a BBQ at a friend's place and on the second day, we will play tourist and visit the city more in deep.

Iftar at Hilton JBR

"Iftar" est le nom du moment lorsque les musulmans cassent le jeûne durant le Ramadan. C'est généralement autour de 18h45-19h, variant avec le coucher du soleil, et beaucoup d'hôtels offrent des buffets iftar. C'est une bonne occasion de goûter les plats traditionnels!

Poulet au yogourt et citron, agneau mijoté, labneh, dattes, petits délices au miel et pistache style baklava, etc...

Mon coin de travail

As many of you already know, I will be the French Teacher at a school called Star International, Al Twar. However, my duties won't be limited to that. I will be in charge of History and Geography for grade 1 as well as Personal and Social Studies for grade 6. On top of that, I will lead the reading sessions with all the grades. It will be challenging, however I am totally ready for this new experience. I will be learning and growing a lot this year in regards of my field!!!!

Satwa is a lively area in Dubai, we (Cécile & I) love to go there to find bargains and to eat 'authentic' food. Last week, we initiated Wendy to it and she loved it!

Si vous regardez bien, il y a un cordonnier qui répare les souliers de Cécile. Il est assis dans son petit trou.
